So there's this little dude that goes to my church. He's nine. He sells eggs from his family's farm. What does he do with the money he earns? Buy baseball cards and bubble gum? Not exactly. In 2007, he gave over $1300 dollars to some missions programs in our church! Isn't that incredible? It blows me away. Don't get the wrong impression here, either. It's not like this kid has rich parents who give him an exorbitant allowance or anything. He simply works hard, and gives. This is one nine year old that I am proud to know, who has set an example worth following. Faith like a child, right?
Generosity and unselfishness like a child.
